**BEST PLAYED IN FULL SCREEN**


Created for the GameDev.tv GameJam 2025. The theme for this GameJam was 'tiny world' so I decided to take a tiny world and let you make it bigger.

Controls:

Press to move close to the Sun

Press W to move farther from the Sun

Press A to increase speed clockwise

Press D to increase speed counter clockwise

Press Shift to BOOST your speed 

Mouse Wheel to Zoom in or out

Hurry! There's only so much time left before the solar system cools!

I focused on learning more about using Unity Events to handle logic occurring in multiple places and it was very helpful.  I also wanted to try learning more about 'feel' in a game and tried putting some polish in the camera.  The thing I was most focused on during the making of this game was JUICE.  I wanted to see how much juice and crunch I could add after seeing the 'FEEL' Asset for sale in the Asset Store.Finally, I wanted to focus on scoping out and completing a project as a solo developer in the short time frame provided.

This is a Minimal Viable Product and there is lots of room for improvement and feature adds. This is just as much as I could get in a demo in time for this GameJam.

Post GameJam update: 

Posted an updated version with a few tweaks or fixes that I didn't have time to implement within the GameJam time frame.
- Hitting planets and the sun now damage the orbiter, causing it to shrink and reduce your score.
- Meeting score thresholds and impacting planets can cause them to spawn moons!
- Fixed Tutorial Fonts so control mapping was less confusing.
- Fixed camera to keep orbiter in focus
- Sun now correctly destroys objects that contact it preventing junk build up
- Added UI animation for score and timer changes
